Stimulants

• Adderall (amphetamine mix) 🔍

  Adderall (dextroamphetamine/ amphetamine)

  Blocks the reuptake and increases the release of norepinephrine and dopamine. Sympathomimetic. Norepinephrine-Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitors (NDRI).

  FDA approved for Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

  Immediate release: Start at 5mg QAM or BID for one week. Increase by 5 mg each week, (5mg, 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 12.5 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg)

  XR: Start at 20mg QAM and increase by 10mg per week. (5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg, 25 mg, 30 mg)

  2D6 Substrate

  Cymbalta (duloxetine)

  Inhibits norepinephrine and serotonin reuptake (SRNI).

  FDA approved for Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Fibromyalgia, and Diabetic Neuropathy

  Immediate release: Start 20mg-30mg QD, can increase after one week if tolerated, (20 mg, 30 mg, 40 mg, 60 mg)

  Pregnancy: Caution advised during pregnancy, especially in 3rd trimester. OK to breastfeed.
